The Role

As a Project Controls Manager, you’ll have a pivotal role in the successful delivery of our complex projects and programmes. You will work closely with Project and Programme Managers, leading a team of project controls professionals, and developing strong relationships with stakeholders including the project team, functional teams, suppliers, and customers.

• Establish and maintain Project Controls governance, processes, and procedures according to customer contracts.
• Manage the Performance Measurement Baseline in scope, cost, and schedule, ensuring ongoing governance control.
• Lead scheduling staff in developing, managing, revising, and analyzing integrated project schedules across all phases.
• Oversee cost management, change management, risk & opportunity management, and document management.
• Implement and manage a reliable Earned Value Management system, generating reports to support informed decision-making.

This is a full-time role, 37 hours per week, with hybrid working: up to 2 days onsite in Corsham, Wiltshire, and 3 days remote.

Essential Experience

• Organized, confident communicator with self-motivation and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in project controls on complex/major projects or programmes.
• Knowledge of planning/scheduling, cost, risk, performance, change, and configuration control practices.
• Experience in applying and assuring project controls governance measures.
• Experience with project controls tools such as MSP, P6, RiskHive, ERP/SAP systems.

Security Clearance

The candidate must be a UK national able to obtain and maintain SC security clearance. Starting with BPSS clearance, progressing to SC clearance is required.
