Job summary

Thales Group is seeking a Project Controller in Crawley on a hybrid basis (3 days onsite). You will design, implement and manage project control systems, maintain IMS and baselines, and drive performance analysis across defence, space and digital security programmes.

You will support senior management with clear insights and robust scheduling against complex engineering projects. The role emphasizes change control, governance, and continuous improvement within a PMO context, with opportunities

Qualifications

• Proven experience in project planning, scheduling, cost control and performance analysis within complex engineering or manufacturing environments.
• Experience developing IMS and PMB baselines.
• Knowledge of EVM and SRA methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage project control systems across programmes and projects.
• Develop and maintain IMS and project baselines.
• Lead change control activities and ensure effective baseline management.
• Monitor, analyse and report project performance, risks and trends.
• Provide project controls guidance and coaching to project and bid teams.
• Drive continuous improvement and share best practice across the PMO.
