Job summary

Burns & McDonnell invites students to apply for a summer 2027 internship in the United Kingdom, offering exposure within Construction and Project Controls. The role supports project teams and provides hands-on experience across data entry, documentation, PowerPoint, and continuous improvement initiatives.

As an intern you will assist with responses to questions, analyze data to propose solutions, and help with ad hoc projects while adhering to company policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited program.
• Currently enrolled, and in good standing, in a post-secondary education program in a field related to the work done in the department.
• Minimum of a 2.1 strongly preferred.
• Prior internship and/or related consulting experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United Kingdom on a full-time basis without requiring future sponsorship for employment visa status.

Responsibilities

• Assist with filing, scanning, data entry, documentation, Power Point presentation.
• Assist with responses to general questions.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts by collecting and analyzing data.
• Present solutions to concerns.
• Research solutions to project concerns; analyze and recommend solutions to problems.
• Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by managers.
• Performs other duties as assigned
