Job summary

HS2 Ltd. is seeking a skilled Planning & Project Controls professional to join the Midlands team, delivering 90km of route from Warwickshire to Staffordshire.

You will work with Balfour Beatty VINCI on site or office-based settings, supporting the Project Control Manager and ensuring timely reporting of performance. You will apply Primavera P6, Excel, and risk management techniques in a large construction program, focusing on lean metrics, EVM, and zero harm values, with expectations of

Qualifications

• Experience in planning and project controls for large complex projects.
• Knowledge of performance reporting and earned value management (EVM).
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a construction setting.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Control Manager in baselining and updates.
• Capture current and forecast programme, budget, cost and risk at asset level.
• Promote lean, coordinated and visual performance metrics.
• Develop planned vs actual resource diagrams in P6 and reporting.
