Job summary

MAG (Airports Group) is seeking a Project Controller to support project managers with cost control, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting at London Stansted Airport. The role requires maintaining SAP budgets, costs, commitments, purchase orders and invoices, and producing reliable cost reports and cash-flow forecasts.

You will help manage NEC compensation events and ensure alignment of forecasts with project schedules. Strong Excel, SAP and Primavera P6 skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in project controls, cost control, project accounting, or commercial management.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, accruals and variance analysis.
• Experience supporting project managers with cost forecasts.
• Experience managing purchase orders, invoices and commitments.
• SAP or comparable enterprise financial system experience.
• Understanding NEC contracts, compensation events and related financial impact.
• Experience producing cost reports and cash-flow forecasts with variance commentary.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills; identify cost pressures and financial risks.
• Able to work with project managers, finance, procurement and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of project governance, financial controls and audit trails.
• Experience on capital investment, infrastructure, or engineering projects desirable.
• Knowledge of Primavera P6 to align forecasts with delivery.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers with cost control, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Maintain accurate project data in SAP including budgets, costs, commitments, POs, invoices and forecast expenditure.
• Produce project cost reports and cash-flow forecasts; analyze financial performance for governance.
• Ensure NEC compensation events reflected in budgets and forecasts.
