Copello has partnered with a defence engineering business to recruit a Project Controller. Candidates can be based in Frimley, Portsmouth, or Cowes. Please note that candidates must be eligible for SC Clearance.

What you’ll be doing:

1. Using your skills, support the planning, monitoring, and control of projects of varying size and complexity.
2. Assist project teams in creating project plans, controlling baselines, and recording, verifying, and reporting project progress.
3. Identify programme performance variances and implement mitigation or explore opportunities.
4. Collaborate with team members to manage project scope, change, budget, and forecasting.
5. Oversee scheduling, Key Performance Indicators, variance analysis (including Earned Value), risk, and opportunity management.
6. Ensure project controls governance and reporting are maintained.

Your skills and experience:

Essential:

• Comprehensive knowledge of Project Control policies, processes, procedures, and systems.
• Understanding of Project Control tools, techniques, and practices.
• Experience with industry-standard Project Controls tools such as Primavera, Microsoft Project, SAP, or Predict.
• Experience with intermediate risk and opportunity management.

Desirable:

• Practical experience with business information tools and data analytics platforms like Tableau or Microsoft Power BI.
• Experience in project controls, baseline control, cost estimating/engineering, resource management, quantity surveying, business analysis, or financial management within project environments.
