Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Qualified Accountant to lead the project accounting function within a multi‑discipline, international environment. You will own cost reporting, forecast budgets, manage working capital and monthly closes, and partner with project teams to drive accountability for results.

You bring CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent, strong Excel and modelling skills, and experience with Netsuite, Proscope, and Power BI. Excellent communication to influence stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent.
• Strong background in project accounting, commercial finance or FP&A.
• Multi-year experience in a turnkey or full lifecycle project business.
• Exposure to project portfolios with revenue > £10m.
• Experience in large, multi-discipline corporate environments with international operations.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling; experience with ERP and reporting tools.
• Excellent communication and ability to influence stakeholders.
• Ability to explain financial concepts clearly and drive accountability.

Demonstrates expertise in project accounting and financial management, with a strong focus on budget forecasting, cash management, and reporting within large, multi‑discipline corporate environments. Proficient in advanced Excel, financial modelling, and ERP tools to drive accountability and influence stakeholders effectively.
