A great opportunity has arisen for a Business Controller to join Rolls-Royce ETS Portfolio and EOM team in Derby. You will join a small team of individuals who support the business with day-to-day activities such as managing cost, analysing data, and reporting to senior stakeholders.

What you will be doing:
As a primary point of contact for Engineering Operations Management, provide right first-time management information and analysis to the customer. Influence and facilitate decision making and provide control of key business drivers, predominantly focused on engineering programmes and resource management.
Provide management information in a manner that is accurate and meaningful for the key stakeholder.
Support historical data capture and comparison scenarios; data provision and analysis for programmes (long term by being the recognised practitioner and point of contact for Business Management, techniques, and tools.
Develop, define, and deploy best practice management information processes, techniques, and tools.
Plan and manage assigned workload and work of others to meet all commitments & agreed deliverables, working with the wider team where appropriate, in support of business objectives.
Model the business data to support decision making. Analyse and review current and historical data sources and assess the impact of using various assumptions and data as an input.

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate:
Good numerical and communication skills both written and verbal.
A high level of knowledge in SAP and Excel, ideally in other corporate tools like P6 or Business Warehouse
Excellent attention to detail and take responsibility for accuracy of your own work.
The ability to manipulate and analyse large volumes of data, using formula in Excel, using advanced tools like PowerBi, creating charts and displaying data in an easily understood format.
The ability to react to changes of scope and deal with ambiguity.
