Location: Calanais Visitor Centre, Callanish, Isle of Lewis

Join us in shaping the exciting future of this remarkable site! You will play a key role in actively supporting the Project Board and Team throughout the redevelopment of the Calanais Visitor Centre.

Fixed term 12 months, 28 hours per week worked flexibly

The Calanais Visitor Centre is undergoing an ambitious £10.1 million redevelopment and will reopen in early 2026 as a world-class, 5-star visitor attraction and a thriving community hub.

The Project Co-ordinator will play a key role in supporting the Project Board and Team throughout the redevelopment of the Calanais Visitor Centre, with a focus on facilitating project management tasks, stakeholder liaison, and ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day project functions. The role will be integral to the team’s success, assisting with the execution of key tasks leading up to the Centre’s official opening in 2026.

The Project Co-ordinator will manage multiple administrative functions, such as co-ordinating board meetings, producing board papers and reports, supporting policy creation and compliance management, co-ordinating procurement activities, managing website content and liaising with key stakeholders and external partners. The position requires someone who is highly organised, proactive, and capable of working under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
