Job summary

Independent Theatre Council Ltd in Crawley is seeking a Project Co-Director to lead Crawley’s Creative Playground, a Creative People and Places programme. The role shares leadership with the current Co-Director and involves strategic reporting to a volunteer Consortium.

• Deliver Crawley’s Creative Playground project in collaboration with the current Project Co-Director.
• Provide strategic reporting to the volunteer Consortium and ensure project progress and outcomes.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and ensure delivery milestones are met.

Job description

We are looking for a new Project Co-Director for Crawley’s Creative Playground
Creative Playground is the Arts Council funded Creative People and Places programme for Crawley. Creative Crawley is the lead organisation for this funding. The leadership of this project is shared equally with the Project Co-Director.

The Project Co-Director works 2.5 days per week on the delivery of Crawley’s Creative Playground alongside current Project Co-Director Sophie Eustace.

What are we looking for?

You are a self-motivated organisational leader who is comfortable operating independently and reporting strategically to a volunteer Consortium.

Salary: £45,000 – 48,000 per annum dependant on experience (pro rata 2.5 days per week). We are offering this post as either a payroll OR a freelance position depending on the candidates preference.

Hours: 2.5 days a week worked flexibly, including some evenings/weekends as required, and there will be periods when additional hours are necessary. We offer Time Off In Lieu.

Place of work: Crawley, West Sussex. We offer hybrid working and core in person working days are typically Tuesday – Thursday each week.
