Strata Construction Consulting UK Ltd is seeking a Project Civil Engineer near Reading with hybrid working. You will lead civil engineering design across residential developments, coordinating consultants and interfacing with planning teams to drive delivery.

The role focuses on highways, drainage, levels, and utilities, with exposure to S104/S38/S278/S106 approvals and due diligence. A degree in civil engineering and experience in UK housing infrastructure are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Managing civil engineering design for residential sites (highways, drainage, levels & utilities)

• Overseeing technical approvals including S104, S38, S278 and S106
• Supporting land appraisals, technical due diligence, and planning submissions
• Liaising with local authorities, water companies, and statutory undertakers
• Ensuring designs are technically compliant, adoptable, and commercially sound
• Providing technical support through construction and adoption phases

A well-established, privately owned residential developer is looking to appoint a Project Civil Engineer to join its in-house technical team. The role offers excellent exposure to the full development lifecycle, from early land stages through to construction and adoption.

This is an ideal opportunity for a civil engineer currently working in consultancy or housebuilding who is looking for a client-side role with real ownership of projects.

The Role

You will take responsibility for managing and coordinating all civil engineering aspects of residential developments, working closely with external consultants, local authorities, and internal planning, land, and construction teams.

• Managing civil engineering design for residential sites (highways, drainage, levels & utilities)
