Job summary

Akelius Residential Property AB in London seeks a Project Building Surveyor to oversee repair, maintenance and refurbishment across a residential portfolio. You will combine project delivery, defect diagnosis and technical advisory support for asset and property management teams.

You will manage internal and external refurbishments including façades, roofs, windows and apartment upgrades, procure contractors, and act as Contract Administrator under JCT.

Qualifications

• Must have degree in Building Surveying or related field.
• MRICS is desirable but not essential.
• Experience with building refurbishment and defect diagnosis.

Responsibilities

• Procure contractors via tendering and manage on-site performance
• Act as Contract Administrator under JCT forms
• Carry out regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and compliance
• Manage project programs, costs and risks to ensure delivery
• Undertake inspections and defect diagnosis with clear reports
