Fisher German LLP in Worcester is seeking a Project Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Infrastructure Services team. You will liaise with internal and external stakeholders and assist surveyors with land consultancy tasks for energy infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Support the wider team including other project assistants and surveyors in land matters associated with energy infrastructure projects.
• Assist surveyors with land referencing activities to identify land ownership and designations and the production of grantor schedules.
• Arrange site access for project-specific survey programmes.
• Undertake initial communication with landowners regarding project proposals.
• Assist in producing legal and land consents documents to enable project delivery.
• Support on-site condition surveys and meetings for project delivery.
• Develop relationships with clients to enable successful project delivery.

The Team & Focus of the Role

Our Infrastructure Services team continue to go from strength to strength and as such, we have an exciting opportunity for a Project Assistant to come and join our expanding team in Worcester.

At Fisher German our customers and clients are at the heart of what we do. We have long standing relationships with many of our clients through the generations. This is down to the trust they have in us to deliver what we say we will, on time.

This role would suit an individual who excels in delivering exceptional support and has strong administrative and coordination skills. You will be involved in liaising with internal and external stakeholders as well as supporting surveyors in the office with various land consultancy tasks associated with infrastructure projects.

This is a permanent, full-time position (Mon-Fri), based in our Worcester office within our hybrid working policy.

Duties will include:

• Supporting the wider team including other project assistants and surveyors in land matters associated with energy infrastructure projects
• Supporting surveyors in the office in various land consultancy tasks associated with infrastructure projects and project delivery extending but not limited to: land referencing activities to identify land ownership and land designations and the production of grantor schedules.
• Arranging site access for project specific survey programmes
• Undertaking initial communication with landowners regarding project proposals
• Assisting surveyors with the production of legal and land consents documents to enable project delivery.
• Supporting on-site record of condition surveys on behalf of surveyors.
• Supporting on-site meetings with surveyors or other team members.
• Working with and developing strong relationships with multiple clients to enable successful project delivery.
• Developing key stakeholder relationships to enable good client service
• Working alongside the office partner and wider Worcester team to create client workload and workstream opportunities to further continue the development and growth of the office.
• Undertaking adhoc duties as required to support the wider Worcester Team

The successful candidate will have...

• Clear and professional communication styles with an excellent telephone manner in discussion with both clients and grantors

• A willingness to travel to attend site meetings, client and Fisher German offices and training events as required.
• Previous experience in an infrastructure role and/or project delivery is desirable but not essential.
• A willingness to commit to undertake any further training and development as required for the role and the wider business.
