Job summary

The University of Edinburgh is seeking a part-time Project Assistant to support the Street Tax project in Edinburgh. This role involves coordinating in-person events, engaging with students and community members, and helping deliver outreach activities while integrating with Law School teams.

Grade UE05: £29,588 - £33,951 per annum, pro rata

Full-time: 7 hours per week

Fixed-term: 18 months

The Opportunity

Be a part of Street Tax, a project seeking to support our local communities.

This Project Assistant role will be pivotal in the delivery of the Street Tax project, a community outreach project that will see undergraduate law students provide free tax guidance to those in the local area. You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of in person events in Edinburgh and for interacting with both students and individuals in the community.

This post is part time (7 hours per week, 0.2FTE); however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
