Job summary

Architecture Social is seeking a Project Architect to lead the delivery of commercial office and retrofit projects in London. You will oversee design development, coordination with consultants and stakeholders, and drive projects through RIBA stages with leadership and client-facing engagement.

You will work in a collaborative studio, manage consultant teams, and mentor junior colleagues while ensuring projects stay on programme and meet high standards.

Project Architect | Commercial Office & Retrofit Projects

A design-led architectural practice is looking to appoint a Project Architect to join its growing team. Working across a range of commercial office and retrofit projects, this role offers the opportunity to take ownership of projects, lead coordination across design teams and play a key role in delivering high-quality schemes across London. This position would suit an Architect with proven project-running experience who is looking for greater responsibility and the opportunity to lead projects through a range of RIBA stages. You'll work closely with clients, consultants and senior team members, helping to deliver technically strong and commercially successful projects while continuing to develop your leadership and client-facing skills.

The Role

You’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of commercial office and retrofit projects, overseeing project coordination, design development and technical delivery. Working within a collaborative studio environment, you’ll manage consultant teams, contribute to client meetings and help ensure projects are delivered on programme and to a high standard.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to move beyond a supporting role and take ownership of projects within a respected and growing practice.

Requirements

• Commercial office, retrofit, education or similarly complex project experience.
• Proficiency in ArchiCAD and/or Revit preferred.
• Strong technical and design capabilities.
• Excellent communication, coordination and organisational skills.
• Confident client-facing abilities.
• A proactive and collaborative approach to project delivery.
