We are currently representing a talented, award-winning architectural practice based in Kettering, actively seeking a Project Architect to join their expanding team. This is an excellent career opportunity for a Project Architect to further develop their career within an inspiring, well-established practice that offers excellent progression opportunities. Architects of various levels are encouraged to apply, as our client has multiple positions available due to an influx of projects.

The Project Architect will work on a wide range of projects across various sectors, including Science, Commercial, and Education. The practice also occasionally works within Residential, Healthcare, and Heritage sectors. Projects typically range in value from £5m to £40m.

The successful candidate will work both as part of a team and independently, managing projects from planning stages through to completion. Our client handles multi-million-pound projects, with much of their workload coming from recommendations and repeat business, reflecting their reputation for outstanding work. The office primarily uses Revit software; knowledge of Revit is advantageous, but experience with other 3D software is acceptable as Revit training can be provided.

Job Overview

• Overseeing daily project operations
• Working across various sectors on projects valued circa £5-£40m
• Producing planning and construction drawing packages, including drawings, schedules, and specifications
• Managing the delivery of projects in collaboration with the team
• Liaising with clients, contractors, consultants, local planning authorities, and building control
• Coordinating work with external consultants and internally within the team
• Working within project teams and independently as required

Job Requirements

• ARB registered Architect
• Residing within a commutable distance of Kettering
• Ability to manage a team and oversee projects from inception to completion
• Proven design and technical detailing skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication skills
• Experience across multiple sectors is advantageous
• Knowledge of Revit or other 3D BIM software such as ArchiCAD or Vectorworks
