Job summary

Conrad Consulting Ltd is seeking a Project Architect to lead projects in Colchester, spanning Residential, Heritage, and Sports & Leisure sectors. The role involves taking ownership of schemes through all RIBA stages and coordinating with planning and technical teams to balance creativity with commercial realities.

You will work closely with developers and housebuilders, shaping the design brief and policy compliance while delivering a varied portfolio from small sites to major developments

Qualifications

A growing, commercially-minded design consultancy is on the hunt for a Project Architect to strengthen its growingteam in Colchester.

Join a business that's scaling quickly, with planning and technical specialists working side-by-side on Residential, Heritage and Sports & Leisure projects that range from small, characterful sites to major strategic developments spanning the country.

As a Project Architect, you'll take ownership and lead projects through all RIBA stages for a client base that spans private developers, commercial clients through to well-renowned housebuilders. Expect close day-to-day involvement with colleagues across planning and technical disciplines as projects progress.

Project Architect requirements:

• ARB/RIBA Qualified Architect
• Solid track record taking projects through all RIBA stages
• A confident grasp of planning policy across the UK
• A knack for balancing creative ambition with commercial reality and policy compliance
• Comfortable collaborating across teams and communicating design intent clearly
• Proficiency with AutoCAD & SketchUp
