Job summary

Conrad Consulting Ltd is partnering with a well-established RIBA Chartered Practice in Oxfordshire, seeking a Project Architect. The role centres on residential work—high-end new-builds, extensions and refurbishments, plus some developer schemes.

You will own projects from concept to completion across all RIBA stages, lead project teams, and liaise with clients with autonomy and trust. Flexible hours and a supportive culture are offered.

Qualifications

• RIBA/ARB Registered Architect with post-qualification experience in a UK practice.
• Fully proficient with AutoCAD and comfortable liaising with clients.
• Strong background in residential projects, including high-end private and developer schemes.
• Experience across all RIBA stages with a solid understanding of the process.

Responsibilities

• Own project from concept through to completion across all RIBA stages.
• Lead and manage project teams and communicate with clients without micromanagement.
• Work on varied residential schemes including high-end builds, extensions and refurbishments.

A well-established, RIBA Chartered Practice in Oxfordshire is looking for a Project Architect to join their team. This is a practice that's built a genuinely great culture with mutual respect, shared responsibility and colleagues who collaborate effectively.

The project mix keeps things varied whilst focusing on the Residential sector: think high-end new-builds, interesting extensions and refurbishments as well as developer schemes with some small commercial ventures thrown in for good measure. You won't be doing the same thing on repeat!

They're looking for someone who can properly own a project from concept through to completion confident across all RIBA stages, comfortable leading and managing project teams and trusted to get on with the job without needing to be micromanaged.

About You

• RIBA/ARB Registered Architect
• Min two years' experience working within a UK practice post qualification
• Fully proficient with AutoCAD
• Confident communicator & comfortable liaising with clients
• Strong background in residential work, ideally with both high-end private and developer project experience
• Proven experience working across all RIBA stages, with a solid understanding of the process
• Good working knowledge of building regulations and how they apply in practice
