Tom Turner Architects is seeking a project architect to join its team in Brighton, UK.

Are you passionate about creating contextual, innovative and sustainable architecture? Tom Turner Architects is on the hunt for a talented project architect to join our collaborative and friendly team.

What you’ll do:

• lead design projects: take the helm of various projects, from concept through to construction, ensuring that each project is delivered to the highest quality standards.
• collaborate with clients: work directly with clients to understand their needs, provide creative solutions, and develop designs that align with their vision.
• coordinate teams: work closely with in-house designers, engineers, and consultants to deliver integrated and cohesive architectural solutions.
• manage timelines and budgets: oversee project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
• champion sustainability: be a key player in promoting sustainable design practices and making a positive impact on the environment.
• mentor junior architects: guide and support junior team members, helping them develop their skills and grow professionally.

What we’re looking for:

• qualifications: ARB registered architect.
• experience: five plus years’ of experience in professional practice, with a strong portfolio showcasing private residential projects.
• proven leadership: experience in leading projects and teams, with an ability to juggle multiple responsibilities and deliver results.
• skills: proficiency in 2D and 3D Vectorworks and Adobe Creative Suite.
• passion for architecture: a love for design, an eye for detail, and the ability to think creatively and critically.
• communication: strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively present and explain ideas to clients, stakeholders, and team members.
