Job Description:

Watlow is a global industrial technology and manufacturing leader providing engineering expertise and thermal products for industries such as semiconductor processing, environmental chambers, energy, diesel emissions, medical, and foodservice equipment. Role Overview:

The Project Application Engineer will deliver process control system solutions, including SCADA and process control systems, throughout all project phases: requirements gathering, documentation, configuration, testing, commissioning, and training.

This is a hybrid role, with 3 days a week in the office.

Responsibilities:

• Define system requirements with customers
• Design automation systems, including enclosures, networking, instrumentation, and supervisory systems
• Create Functional and Test Specifications
• Implement control and SCADA applications
• Perform system testing and commissioning
• Provide technical and sales support
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects effectively
• Coordinate with Technical Support and Field Service Engineers
• Mentor junior team members
• Conduct customer visits for system start-up, commissioning, emergency restoration, training, and technical support

Qualifications and Attributes:

• Proven experience in control systems implementation and services
• Degree in Control, Systems, Electrical, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Science
• Experience with SCADA, specifically Aveva System Platform
• Ability to develop Functional and Test Specifications
• Strong business and technical acumen
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Analytical and planning skills
• Willingness to travel occasionally
