Our client is a successful business that has experienced rapid growth in the past 12 months. They are based in Portsmouth and require travel to their offices but also offer a hybrid working model.

Description

As the Project Accounting Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

1. Inputting project-related financial transactions into accounting systems.
2. Maintaining organized records of invoices, receipts, and other documentation.
3. Assisting in tracking project budgets and actual expenditures.
4. Flagging variances between budgeted and actual costs for review.
5. Helping prepare financial reports and project cost summaries.
6. Providing assistance during audits or internal reviews.
7. Communicating with project managers, vendors, and finance staff to resolve discrepancies or gather information.
8. Performing other ad hoc duties.

Profile

To be successful as a Project Accounting Assistant, you should have experience with some or all of the responsibilities listed above.

Job Offer
