Job summary

CMA Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Project Accountant to support financial controls and governance across a major infrastructure programme. The role focuses on budgets, forecasts, spend analysis, and detailed reporting for stakeholders and investors.

The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills, experience in large construction programmes, and a proactive approach to stakeholder engagement. Flexible working options are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in project accounting within large/complex programmes.
• Ability to translate financial data into strategic insights.
• Strong understanding of accounting standards, contract management and controls.
• Proficient with Excel; good PowerPoint, Word and Teams skills.

Responsibilities

• Support financial controls and governance across the project lifecycle.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts and spend analysis to meet targets.
• Prepare and present detailed financial reports for stakeholders and investors.
• Collaborate with project teams to reflect supplier costs and process payments.
• Contribute to financial compliance and regulatory reporting.
