Job summary

MarcDaniels is seeking a Finance Project Accountant to support the financial management of projects, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting and cost controls. The role requires strong analytical skills and clear communication of financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

You will partner with project managers to prepare reports, monitor profitability, and ensure revenue recognition. Hybrid working is offered with 2 days from home.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified or fully qualified ACCA / CIMA (or equivalent), or QBE (Qualified By Experience).
• Demonstrable experience in a finance or accounting role, ideally within project accounting, contract accounting, or management accounting.
• Solid understanding of project accounting principles, budgeting, forecasting, revenue recognition, and financial controls.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of project financial reports and analysis efficiently.
• Assist with project budgeting and forecasting.
• Prepare monthly project reconciliations and review project costs.
• Business partner with project managers and non-finance stakeholders.
• Prepare project financial reports for senior management.
