Job description

We’re hiring an experienced Commercial Finance Specialist to support a high-profile, pan-European programme within a leading professional services environment.

This is a hybrid contract role based in Belfast, requiring 2–3 days per week in-office. The initial term is 6 to 12 months, with potential for extension.

About the Role

You’ll play a key role in shaping complex, multi-country commercial deals — driving value for both the client and our delivery team. This includes full financial modelling, deal shaping, pricing strategy, and close collaboration with senior stakeholders across Finance, Sales, and Delivery teams.

1. Lead financial costing, pricing, and scenario modelling for complex deals.
2. Align risk, value, and stakeholder objectives to create balanced, commercially sound solutions.
3. Engage directly with clients and their finance teams to shape and validate business cases.
4. Drive consistent, innovative commercial structuring across deals.
5. Present and explain financial models to senior executives and contribute to commercial strategy sessions.

Ideal Skill Set:

1. Strong financial modelling & commercial analysis experience.
2. Understanding of cost baselining, investment appraisal, and managed services contracting.
3. Confident engaging with C-level and senior stakeholders.
4. Ability to navigate complex sales cycles and contribute to solution development.
5. Experience in professional services, consulting, or outsourcing environments.
