Job summary

St Basils Charity Ltd in Redditch is seeking a Progression Coach to support young people experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness. You’ll help them build confidence, develop life skills and take positive steps towards independent living.

Within a multi-disciplinary PIE team, you’ll create personalised support plans, offer practical and emotional support, and help young people progress to education, employment or training while safeguarding remains central.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting young people or vulnerable adults within housing, youth work, social care, education or similar.
• Ability to build positive, trusting relationships and motivate others.
• Commitment to safeguarding, equality and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Create personalised support plans with young people to overcome challenges and achieve goals.
• Provide practical guidance, emotional support and encouragement to help them thrive.
• Support with accommodation, education, employment or training pathways.
• Maintain accurate records and work within safeguarding policies.
