Job summary

Learning Partners Academy Trust near West Byfleet, Surrey, is seeking a Progress Mentor to join the Learning Support department. The role is 16.25 hours per week, term-time only (38.6 weeks), 8:30am–3:05pm, three days per week, with a permanent contract starting October 2026.

Salary - Payscale LPT4, FTE £25,867 - £27,701 (pro rata £10,029-£10,740)

Do you have an interest in supporting young people? We are seeking to appoint a progress mentor to work within the learning support department supporting our students. You will be part of an amazing team with a deep commitment to delivering excellent results and helping students achieve their potential.

The role provides practical and specialised support for students who have communication, cognition and learning; behavioural, emotional and social; or physical/sensory difficulties.

Main duties include:

• Planning and delivering interventions to small groups or individual students
• Liaising with teaching staff about the needs and support of specific students
• Supporting and implementing the whole school policies relating to behaviour.
