Job summary

The Education Network North is seeking a Progress Lead / HLTA to join a North Tyneside school and support learners with a focus on SEN. You will work across classroom and small-group settings to boost engagement and progress.

Candidates should have HLTA status, recent experience with young people, and strong teamwork. A fully enhanced DBS is required or a willingness to apply through us. Pay is circa £120/day depending on qualifications.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people within the past 2 years.
• Must be a qualified HLTA.
• A passion for education and student development.
• Fully enhanced DBS or a willingness to apply for one via ourselves

Responsibilities

• Providing one-to-one and small group support to students
• Assisting with learning activities in and outside the classroom
• Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) and learning difficulties
• Encouraging engagement and confidence in learning
