Job summary

Warrington & Vale Royal College is seeking qualified teaching staff to join a supportive, high-expectation environment. Suitable candidates will hold a Diploma in Education & Training (or equivalent), with a background of A Levels and GCSEs in English and Maths, and a strong commitment to safeguarding and student achievement.

The college emphasises induction, mentoring, and flexibility where appropriate. Staff benefit from an extensive training programme and a positive, inclusive campus culture

Qualifications

  • A Level standard or equivalent, and 5 GCSEs A-C including English and Maths
  • Clear understanding of student target setting, monitoring and reviewing to ensure achievement

Responsibilities

  • Understand and implement safeguarding of young people and vulnerable adults
  • Contribute to data-informed interventions to support learners’ progress
  • Participate in induction, training, and mentoring activities and abide by college policies

In addition, candidates should have a clear understanding of student target setting, monitoring and reviewing to ensure achievement for students, experience using data to inform interventions and a commitment to the safeguarding of young people and vulnerable adults.
