A leading consultancy is looking for an experienced Programme Test Manager to join a major travel client for a high-profile system transformation programme. You will define and implement the test strategy, ensuring quality across complex integrations. Ideal candidates have extensive experience in test management on large-scale programmes, especially in the transport or e-commerce sector. This role involves on-site work in Folkestone once per fortnight.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Programme Test Manager or Test Lead on large-scale programmes.

• Strong expertise in API and backend systems testing.

Programme Test Manager – Travel – Kent (Once a Fortnight) – £675 p/d (Outside IR35)

A leading travel client is seeking an experienced Programme Test Manager to play a key role in the development of a brand-new reservation system.

As Programme Test Manager, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the end-to-end test strategy, ensuring quality and reliability across complex integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and deliver the programme-level test strategy from inception to completion.
• Manage test planning, execution, and reporting across multiple workstreams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align testing with programme objectives.
• Drive best practices in test governance, automation, and reporting.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Programme Test Manager or Test Lead on large-scale programmes.
• Background in transport or e-commerce sectors.
• Worked in both Systems Integration (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Experience with reservation/booking systems
• Strong expertise in API and backend systems testing.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Contract Details:

• Rate: £675 p/d (Outside IR35)
• Duration: 3 months initially (rolling)
• Location: Folkestone, Kent (on-site once per fortnight)
