Looking to broaden your experience in Higher Education?
We are looking for an organised and proactive administrator to join our Academic Affairs team. The role will predominantly support Programme Administration, including the day-to-day delivery of our academic programmes and student placements. You will also provide flexible administrative support across Academic Affairs, giving you the opportunity to gain experience across areas such as Quality, Student Records and Data, Timetabling and Student Life.
This makes the role a great opportunity for someone who already has experience working in education and wants to develop a broader understanding of Higher Education administration and the full student lifecycle.
You will work with Programme Directors, academic staff, students and colleagues across professional services, as well as supporting department managers and Heads of Service.
You will provide accurate and reliable administrative support across a range of activities including:
Ideally, you'll have Higher Education experience, but we are also interested in applicants with relevant administrative experience from Further Education or another educational environment with comparable administrative processes.
This isn't a role where you'll spend the whole year doing one narrow area of administration.
You'll build experience across Programme Administration while also getting exposure to different parts of Academic Affairs. You'll see how different teams contribute to the student journey, from programme and enrolment activity through assessment, records, quality and student support, giving you a much broader view of how Higher Education administration works.
For someone looking to take the next step in an HE administration career or make the move into HE from another relevant education setting, it's an opportunity to build practical experience across several areas within one role
