Job summary

Assystem is seeking a Programme Performance Lead in Helensburgh, UK, for an umbrella contractor role of 6 months+. The post holder will drive performance management of the Major Works Programme, review baselines and milestones, and forecast costs and funding requirements.

The role is hybrid with up to two days on site. You will oversee financial forecasting, reporting, and documentation for the Programme, working with stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications

  • Experience in programme management and governance.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and on own initiative.
  • MS O365 proficiency essential.
  • Umbrella contractor role for 6+ months.

Responsibilities

  • Review the monthly Programme Summary Report to identify improvements.
  • Oversee the performance management of the Major Works Programme.
  • Lead on the review of the Major Works Programme baseline and milestones, including tracking of project completion.
  • Identify and solve issues impacting the Major Works Programme.
  • Forecast finances, manage Enabled Work Schedule (EWS) budgets and reporting.
  • Forecast CP finances and approvals and reporting.
  • Develop robust programme performance reporting procedures.
  • Support Programme Performance meetings with collated documentation.
  • Support the Programme Performance Manager and team as required.

Assystem have a proud heritage gained over decades both in the UK and overseas, (delivering, supporting, managing) some of the most complex engineering projects in decommissioning, repurposing legacy assets and key new build projects such as Hinkley Point C.## Job Description**Summary of Role – Programme Performance Lead**The role will support the Infrastructure Programme Manager leading on the performance management of the Major Works Programme.The postholder is responsible for managing the performance of the in-year Major Works Programme, including the review of the baseline & milestones and identifying project issues impacting at a programme level.The postholder is also responsible for programme financial management including the Enabled Work Schedule CP, updating MWP forecasts, submit funding requirements and report on in-year commitments.**TASKS****Key tasks associated with this role:**1. Review the monthly Programme Summary Report to identify areas for improvement, issues to be resolved, variances and comments2. Oversee the performance management of the Major Works Programme.3. Lead on the review of the Major Works Programme baseline and milestones, including the tracking of the completion of projects.4. Identify and find solutions for issues which are impacting the Major Works Programme.5. Management of the finances of the Major Works Programme through forecasting, ABC bids and reporting6. Management of the EWS CP finances through forecasting, BC Approvals, CP Approvals and reporting.7. Oversee the development of robust programme performance reporting procedures.8. Support the Major Works Programme Review and EWS Monthly Management Meeting, ensuring required supporting documentation is collated and presented in a coherent and timely manner.9. Support the Programme Performance Manager in their role as support to the Programme Performance Lead.## My profile**Essential Skills and Experience****Skills / experience required for this role:**1.
