Job description

FourthRev is looking for an experienced, impact-driven Programme Operations Manager to join our high-performing operations team. Based within the Product Team, you will play a critical role in managing the full lifecycle of our digital learning products — from strategy and curriculum co-creation to pedagogic design, development, and quality assurance. This role is ideal for someone confident in managing stakeholders, both internally and externally, and ensuring products are delivered to the highest standard.

This is a fully remote role open to candidates in both the UK and South Africa.

Your Mission

You will work closely with the Chief Learning Officer and Senior Projects Manager to oversee the development and continuous improvement of world-class educational programmes. These programmes are designed to help learners thrive in the digital economy and are co-created with top universities, subject matter experts, and industry leaders. You will help shape our products to meet real-world needs and ensure a consistent careers-first experience across everything we build.

What You'll Do
Programme Development
  • Collaborate with the Product Development and Product Operations teams to guide product strategy using learner insights, industry trends, and technological advancements.
  • Lead and support new projects involving curriculum co-creation with universities and industry experts to deliver exceptional learner and business outcomes.
  • Manage and support a team of subject matter experts, or external contributors, for curriculum design, content creation, and research.
Project and Roadmap Management (including suppliers)
  • Support product roadmap development by reviewing and reporting on programme KPIs.
  • Drive process improvements across the product lifecycle from concept to continuous improvement.
  • Oversee relevant internal teams and manage relationships with external suppliers for key projects, ensuring high-quality product development within timelines and budgets.
  • Act as a liaison for stakeholder briefings, problem-solving sessions, and innovation meetings as needed.
Quality Assurance
  • Partner with and line manage, as needed, wider teams to ensure all learning materials meet quality standards across formats: written, video, graphical, and assessment.
  • Perform regular quality assurance checks and final reviews before learner release.
Media
  • Oversee media resources and line manage, as needed, to support capacity planning and prioritisation across new course development, continuous improvement, and marketing assets.
  • Coordinate video asset creation by managing logistics and external stakeholders.
Ops Management and Reporting
  • Work closely with the wider product team to align plans, priorities, and sprint execution.
  • Support decision-making and priority planning for team members to meet deadlines across the portfolio.
  • Represent the Product Development and Product Ops management team at internal and external meetings as appropriate.
Requirements
What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's or master's degree (preferred fields: education, digital technology).
  • Strong experience in online education, instructional design, and digital pedagogy.
  • Experience in similar edtech environments with high-quality product delivery in fast-paced settings.
  • Proven success in designing blended and virtual learning experiences.
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodology and user-centered design.
  • Proven stakeholder management experience with senior partners and stakeholders.
  • Experience managing external suppliers.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Experience working with international and remote teams.
Benefits
