Job summary

The Society of St Wilfrid and St Hilda is seeking a proactive Programme Officer to support the Catholic Mission Network programme. The role focuses on administration, communications, event coordination, and resource management across a nationally funded initiative.

You will work with clergy, lay leaders and senior church stakeholders to deliver training, organise events and maintain the online resource hub, while managing budgets and reports. Hybrid working and college base at Hove are offered.

Qualifications

  • Experience in administration, communications and programme coordination.
  • Experience organising meetings, events and online activities.
  • Experience managing budgets, databases and producing reports.
  • Strong IT skills with Office, intranets and video conferencing platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact and support CMN delivery.
  • Produce and distribute a monthly e-newsletter.
  • Manage and update the CMN online resource hub.
  • Organise and promote meetings, training events and conferences.
  • Develop and maintain a central database of parishes and clergy.
  • Monitor expenditure and assist with budget tracking and reporting.
