Job summary

UK Atomic Energy Authority is looking for a skilled coordinator to lead the mobilisation of work packages between UK Fusion Energy Ltd and UKAEA. You will manage scope, schedule, budget and governance, coordinating technical, commercial, finance, procurement and project delivery to deliver on time.

The role requires onsite presence (usually 3 days a week) with flexible working where possible. You will line manage junior team members, oversee the pipeline, and report to senior stakeholders while

Qualifications

• Proven track record in project or programme coordination, mobilisation and delivery.
• Experience in bid, tender or work-winning management and coordinating submissions.
• Delivered complex programmes with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of portfolio management, project management offices or project controls.
• Understanding of contract management, commercial processes and governance.
• Demonstrated ability to build productive relationships across organisational boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main coordination point between UK Fusion Energy Ltd, the Fusion Partner Office and UKAEA divisions.
• Lead the end-to-end mobilisation of new work packages from initial request through to delivery.
• Coordinate the development of scopes, delivery requirements, schedules, budgets, assumptions and dependencies.
• Bring together technical, commercial, finance, procurement and project delivery contributions.
• Ensure intellectual property, asset ownership and contractual requirements are addressed before work begins.
• Guide work packages through the appropriate governance and approval processes.
• Identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies and resource constraints affecting mobilisation.
• Maintain oversight of the work package pipeline and provide reporting and analysis to senior stakeholders.
• Monitor performance against agreed mobilisation and delivery measures, improving processes where required.
• Line manage and develop junior team members and deputise for the Fusion Partner Office Manager.
