Job summary

Halfords Group PLC in Redditch seeks an experienced Programme Manager - People Change to support the delivery of a complex organisation effectiveness and business transformation portfolio.

Working closely with the Director of People Transformation and Head of People Change, this role provides governance, structure and delivery discipline to translate strategic decisions into successful implementations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in programme, transformation or business change management.
• Strong governance, planning and delivery management capability.
• Experience supporting strategic HR / business transformation initiatives.
• Experience partnering with HR, People Change, Organisation Development or Transformation teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Comfortable with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
• Delivery-focused and pragmatic in approach.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and drive integrated programme plans with milestones and dependencies.
• Establish and maintain robust programme governance and reporting.
• Coordinate activity across multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
• Identify and escalate programme risks and issues; drive resolution.
• Translate strategic decisions into practical delivery plans.
• Produce materials for governance forums and senior leadership updates.
• Drive accountability across stakeholders and maintain delivery discipline.
• Support implementation of organisation effectiveness and business transformation initiatives.
• Monitor progress and provide clear recommendations to achieve objectives.
• Build strong relationships with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
