Job summary

Sigma is seeking a Programme Manager to lead the operational administration team within the Shared User operation in Leeds. You will focus on people management, performance delivery and continuous improvement, ensuring work is planned, prioritised and completed on time and within budget.

You will work with the Account Manager and warehouse teams to drive efficiencies, manage risks and maintain high standards of service delivery across the operation.

Qualifications

• Experience leading operational teams in warehousing/logistics.
• Experience planning workloads in fast-paced environments.
• Understanding of stock control and inventory management.
• Experience monitoring budgets and performance data.
• Knowledge of health and safety and GDPR requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the operational administration team to meet objectives.
• Manage day-to-day people matters including attendance, holidays, performance and HR processes.
• Plan, prioritise and allocate workloads to meet client requirements.
• Oversee delivery of operational activity and projects within budgets and timescales.
• Monitor progress, risks and cost; implement mitigation actions.
• Coordinate with warehouse operations to ensure smooth inbound, storage and outbound flow.
• Maintain stock integrity and inventory controls.
• Review KPIs and reporting, identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and audit operational processes to ensure compliance and service excellence.
• Promote adherence to procedures and maintain audit trails.
• Drive continuous improvement across people, processes and systems.
• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Provide updates and risk reporting to the Account Manager.
• Motivate the team to improve productivity and service levels.
• Ensure compliance with policies, health and safety and GDPR.
