Job summary

Gazelle Global Consulting Limited is seeking an NIS Programme Manager to lead an enterprise-wide Network and Information Systems programme within the UK water sector, combining OT cyber security, regulatory compliance and critical infrastructure transformation.

The role is a 6-month contract based in Snodland, Kent, with a Hybrid pattern (1-2 days in the office). You will oversee IT, OT Engineering and Operations workstreams and drive compliance with UK NIS Regulations and CAF v4.

Responsibilities

• Manage a blended portfolio of capital projects and operational cyber initiatives.
• Oversee site modernisations, PLC replacements and network segmentation.
• Drive compliance with NIS CAF v4 and DWI regulatory requirements.
• Manage programme budgets, AMP8 funding and financial controls.
• Coordinate IT, OT Engineering, Operations and field deployment teams.
• Mitigate cyber, regulatory and operational risks across live environments.
• Strengthen business continuity, supply chain resilience and cyber security governance.
• Maintain evidence repositories, Master Action Trackers and regulatory reporting.
• Manage industrial vendors, external assurance partners and senior stakeholders.

NIS Programme Manager | OT Cyber Security | Snodland, Kent

Lead an enterprise-wide Network and Information Systems (NIS) programme within the UK water sector, combining OT cyber security, regulatory compliance and critical infrastructure transformation.

Contract: 6 months
Location: Snodland, Kent, UK
Working pattern: Hybrid, 1-2 days per week in the office

The Project

You will take end-to-end accountability for a complex NIS programme, protecting AMP8 capital funding while strengthening enterprise-wide cyber security. You will oversee IT, OT Engineering and Operations workstreams, delivering against the UK NIS Regulations and enhanced CAF sector-specific profile of NIS CAF v4.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a blended portfolio of capital projects and operational cyber initiatives.

Technical Skills

• Proven leadership of IT/OT transformation programmes within CNI or regulated utilities.


• Strong knowledge of UK NIS Regulations and enhanced CAF sector-specific profile of NIS CAF v4.


• Understanding of Purdue Model segmentation, SCADA, PLCs and telemetry networks.


• Experience delivering audit evidence and regulatory assurance frameworks.


• Knowledge of industrial vendors, including Siemens and Ovarro.


• Experience with business continuity, supply chain cyber resilience and enterprise cyber maturity.


• ISA/IEC 62443 industrial automation security standards are highly desirable.
