Job summary

The City of Edinburgh Council is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to establish and maintain an effective programme management function to oversee homelessness-related strategies, including temporary accommodation and homelessness prevention.

You will also oversee the Local Housing Strategy and Housing Emergency Action Plan, ensuring delivery in line with budget commitments and statutory requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience within homelessness or a similar service environment.
• Extensive knowledge of homelessness legislation, regulatory and policy environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of homelessness-related strategies linked to the budget delivery including temporary accommodation and homelessness prevention.
• Oversee the Local Housing Strategy and Housing Emergency Action Plan.
