Job summary

Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation, is recruiting a Programme Manager for an initial 12-month contract at £500/day (Outside IR35). The role is mainly remote with occasional days in the office across Scotland.

You will lead a nationally significant transformation, coordinating multiple workstreams and budgets. Degree-qualified with recognised PM qualifications and extensive experience in governance, stakeholder engagement, and reporting to senior leadership is required.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified or equivalent professional experience.
• Recognised Programme or Project Management qualification (MSP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, APM PMQ or equivalent).
• Significant experience leading large-scale programmes or complex organisational change initiatives.
• Experience of programme governance and assurance within a large organisation.
• Experience of managing substantial budgets and financial controls.
• Experience engaging with senior executives and external stakeholders.

Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation (blue light service)with various locations across Scotland, is currently looking to recruit a Programme Manager for an initial 12 month contract on a rate of £500/day (Outside IR35). This role will be mainly remote working, with potentially the occasional couple of days in the office from time to time.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a nationally significant transformation programme on behalf of the organisation.
• Manage delivery of multiple interdependent workstreams.
• Coordinate activity across all Directorates and operational functions.
• Manage significant capital and revenue programme budgets.
• Report directly to the Programme Board and Senior Responsible Owner.
