TeacherActive is recruiting a Programme Lead for Health & Social Care at a mainstream college in Leicester. The role blends teaching duties with leadership responsibilities, overseeing the Level 3 Health and Social Care course and supporting Year 2 delivery.

Temp contract for 4 weeks starting Oct, with 22.5 hours per week (Mon, Wed, Thu & Fri). Competitive pay between £30-£40 per hour and strong onboarding support from consultants.

Qualifications

• Experience in Health and Social Care teaching.
• Experience as head of department or leading a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead Level 3 Health and Social Care course.
• Teach on Year 2 course.
• Coordinate and manage a small team on a temporary basis.

This role will be a blend of teaching and managing on temp basis so could be a great next step for somebody who is thinking of getting into a HOD role
