Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking an experienced Programme Lead - Electrical to manage our Electrical provision within the Apprenticeships Department across Slough & Langley College campuses. This full-time role pays £47,456–£50,701 on the Support Staff pay scale, based on experience.

You will lead the delivery team, mentor staff and trainees, oversee QA processes, and drive improvements while liaising with employers to align training with industry needs.

• Relevant vocational qualifications in Electrical Installation or Maintenance.

Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking for a skilled electrical specialist with team leadership experience to lead our Electrical provision within the Apprenticeships Department. Located at our Slough & Langley College campus, this full time, permanent position offers a salary between £47,456 (M38) and £50,701 (M41) on the Support Staff pay scale, depending on your experience and qualifications.

Programme Lead - Electrical

In this key role, you will take operational ownership of our Electrical programmes, supporting learners through every step of their journey. Reporting to the Head of Apprenticeships, you will guide and mentor your delivery team through regular team management, curriculum planning and standardisation. You will also oversee quality assurance by supporting EQA visits, managing IQA processes, tracking learner progress and helping drive continuous improvement across the department. Alongside supporting your team, you will directly train, coach and assess a caseload of apprentices against industry standards, spotting extra support needs early to ensure learners are confident and ready for their End Point Assessment (EPA / AM2S). Additionally, you will build strong working relationships with local and national employers to ensure our training meets real-world industry needs.

We are looking for applicants with relevant vocational qualifications in Electrical Installation or Maintenance, an 18th Edition certification, AM2 / AM2S and recognised teaching or assessing qualifications (or a willingness to work towards them). Experience working in the trade alongside team supervisory or mentoring skills will be key to your success.
