Job summary

Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking a full-time Electrical Technical Tutor to join our Slough & Langley College team in the Apprenticeships department. You will manage a caseload of electrical apprentices, delivering high quality training, skills coaching and mentoring to ensure successful completion towards their End Point Assessment Gateway.

You will hold 18th Edition and AM2/AM2S qualifications, a teaching qualification (CET/DET/DTLLS) and an Assessor Award (A1 or equivalent).

Qualifications

• Experience delivering high quality training and mentoring to apprentices.
• Strong electrical industry knowledge and a recognised teaching qualification.
• Willingness to undergo safeguarding checks and DBS where required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of electrical apprentices on Apprenticeships programmes.
• Deliver high quality training, skills coaching and mentoring to support End Point Assessment Gateway.
• Collaborate with employers and internal teams to track progress and ensure a positive apprentice experience.

Job description

Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking for a full time, permanent Electrical Technical Tutor to join our Slough & Langley College team in the Apprenticeships department. The salary ranges from £43,151 (L34) up to £46,374 (L37) per annum on the support staff pay scale, depending on experience and qualifications.

Technical Tutor - Electrical

In this role, you will manage a caseload of apprentices, delivering high quality training, skills coaching and mentoring to ensure successful completion towards their End Point Assessment Gateway. You will work closely with apprentices, employers and internal support teams to track progress, monitor off-the-job training and deliver an outstanding apprenticeship experience.

We are looking for someone with relevant industry qualifications (including 18th Edition and AM2/AM2S), a recognised teaching qualification (such as CET, DET, or DTLLS), and an Assessor Award (A1 or equivalent). Above all, you will be driven by a genuine passion for inspiring the next generation of electricians and helping every apprentice reach their full potential.
