University of Oxford, Oxford Population Health, is recruiting a Programme Manager to join Trey Ideker’s multidisciplinary team at the Big Data Institute. You will manage the HELIX programme delivery, its governance structures, and cross-departmental projects, ensuring milestones are met and budgets monitored.

The role requires experience managing technical or scientific research programmes across departments, with strong project management, milestone tracking, and reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level in a relevant subject.
• Experience of managing technical or scientific research programmes, ideally spanning multiple departments or institutions.
• Experience in project/programme management including milestones, progress, budgets and outcome reporting to diverse stakeholders.
• Experience with financial monitoring and reporting including tracking budgets and funding across departments.

Responsabilités

• Manage mobilisation and ongoing delivery of the HELIX programme, including governance and advisory structures.
• Provide day-to-day operational management of the HELIX portfolio and cross-departmental projects.
• Monitor delivery against milestones and deliverables; escalate delays or risks and update priorities/timelines.
• Coordinate across departments to ensure multi-disciplinary collaboration and successful outcomes.
