Job summary

ea Change is seeking an experienced Programme Director in London to lead an enterprise-wide resilience programme, delivering a high-profile co-location Data Centre and ensuring operational readiness. You will set a 12-18 month vision with ExCo, align priorities and manage the delivery plan across suppliers to achieve concrete outcomes.

This role requires strong leadership within complex organisations, track record of significant infrastructure delivery, and experience operating with Executive

Job description

We are working with a London based Financial Services client who are looking for an experienced Programme Director to lead them through an enterprise wide resilience programme around delivering a high profile co-location Data Centre.

Key Responsibilities

• Work alongside ExCo and set a clear 12-18 month vision, priorities and delivery plan aligned to strategic resilience objectives.
• Programme Director will be responsible for the technology implementation, supplier coordination, target operating model, operational readiness and the processes required to invoke and run the environment during a live event.
• Own the delivery roadmap and drive quarterly planning and delivery, ensuring strategic ambition is translated into sequenced, achievable outcomes.

Key Skills

• Target Operating Model Design experience, confidence shaping the people, process, governance and operational model around the technology.
• Proven track record of significant Infrastructure delivery and deployment experience at scale including direct data centre implementation experience
• Complex supplier leadership: the ability to direct major third parties and hold delivery partners to account across contractual and organisational boundaries.
• Strong leadership experience in complex organisations with a diverse range of stakeholders
• Previous experience of working with Critical National Infrastructure or similarly rigorous regulated environments
• Experience of leading matrix delivery teams and multiple Project Managers
• Previous experience of operating at or with Executive and Board level

The role is not suited to a generalist IT Programme Director whose experience is mainly in software delivery
