Job summary

QCS Staffing is seeking a Project Director for data centre programmes in London, overseeing governance, scheduling and delivery across multiple workstreams. This contract role spans 12-24 months and requires leadership of senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.

The candidate will manage complex programmes involving power, utilities and construction interfaces, with a focus on risk, cost control and operational readiness.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading hyperscale data centre or mission-critical infra programmes.
• Strong governance, planning, risk and commercial management experience.
• Experience coordinating complex programmes with power, utilities, MEP and construction interfaces.

Working across sectors including science, technology, education, healthcare and commercial developments, they focus on collaborative, sustainable delivery and high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead programme governance, reporting, controls and decision-making processes across multiple delivery workstreams.
• Oversee schedule management, project controls, risk, cost and change management to ensure successful programme delivery.
• Manage senior stakeholder relationships including clients, contractors, consultants, utilities and supply-chain partners.
• Drive programme delivery across design, procurement, construction, commissioning and operational readiness phases.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading hyperscale data centre or other mission-critical infrastructure programmes.
• Strong background in programme governance, project controls, planning, risk and commercial management.
