***INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY PLEASE*** We’re currently recruiting for a Programme Co-ordinator to join our team on a part-time basis. The role will support the Electric Vehicle Charging programme team, ensuring the smooth running of the programme, its support systems, and processes. This is a fixed-term role of 3 days per week, with potential to extend to 4 or 5 days. The contract is due to end when the previous employee returns from maternity leave. The duration is uncertain but unlikely to exceed 12 months.What it's like to work here
The EV charging programme offers an exciting opportunity to enable change as we move towards a greener future for travel. Reducing emissions from visitor travel aligns with our organizational commitments. As this is a national role, there is flexibility regarding your place of work. Our hybrid working policy allows a balance of office and home working, with site visits and meetings at other National Trust locations. You can expect to spend 40–60% of your working week at a National Trust site, with details discussed at interview.
What you'll be doing
You’ll support the delivery of electric vehicle charging solutions at our sites, liaising with regional and property staff to facilitate successful project implementation. You’ll work closely with the Programme Manager, property teams, external contractors, and consultants. You’ll lead communication and engagement plans, fostering a culture of collaboration. Keeping stakeholders and team members updated, highlighting achievements, risks, or issues, is essential. You’ll ensure a clear audit trail for decisions and activities within projects, and coordinate reporting on progress, budgets, and funding.
This is a part-time, fixed-term role of 3 days per week for 12 months to cover maternity leave. We are open to extending the hours.
