Job summary

Modis International Ltd is seeking a Programme Assurance, Governance and Compliance Officer to oversee governance and programme assurance across a national portfolio. Hybrid role based in the West Midlands with UK-wide travel requirements.

The successful candidate will establish governance forums, coordinate approvals, maintain audit-ready evidence and ensure robust management of artefacts, decisions and data. Travel monthly, Midlands-based, with occasional HQ visits.

Qualifications

• Proven governance, assurance or PMO experience in complex programmes or portfolios.
• Track record of governance papers and executive-level reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple approvals, dependencies and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret complex information and provide clear recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent oversight of programme compliance and decision-making processes.
• Establish governance forums, coordinate approvals and maintain audit-ready artefacts.
• Oversee compliance and ensure governance arrangements are robust and consistently applied.
• Manage artefacts, evidence and data to support decision-making and reporting.
