Job summary

Coforge is seeking a Program Test Manager to lead the testing workstream for a major migration from MS Dynamics AX to SAP S/4HANA within a retail environment. The role demands defining the test strategy, managing large testing teams, and overseeing integration testing to ensure high-quality delivery across the program.

The successful candidate will coordinate offshore testing teams, conduct workshops, monitor risks and metrics, and drive governance improvements across the testing lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in Test Management on ERP transformation programs.
• Strong hands-on SAP S/4HANA functional testing experience.
• Experience with Retail clients and retail processes.

Responsibilities

• Define the test strategy for the migration from MS Dynamics AX to SAP S/4HANA.
• Lead a testing team of ~20 testers across onshore and offshore locations.

Job Title: Program Test Manager - SAP S/4HANA Retail

Location: London (Hybrid)

Travel: Approximately 10% within the UK and EU

Job Summary:

We at Coforge are looking for experience Program Test Manager to lead the testing workstream for a major migration from MS Dynamics AX to SAP S/4HANA within a retail environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining the test strategy, managing large testing teams, overseeing integration testing, and ensuring high-quality delivery across the program.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and execute the test strategy for the migration from MS Dynamics AX to SAP S/4HANA.
• Set up, lead, and manage a testing team of approximately 20 testers across onshore and offshore locations.
• Drive end-to-end functional and integration testing between SAP S/4HANA and connected business applications.
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage across SAP S/4HANA retail business processes.
• Manage and coordinate offshore testing teams, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and delivery.
• Conduct testing workshops and stakeholder meetings across the UK and EU.
• Monitor testing progress, risks, defects, and quality metrics, providing regular updates to project leadership.
• Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and governance standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Test Manager or Program Test Manager on large-scale ERP transformation programs.
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA functional testing.
• Prior experience working with a Retail client and strong understanding of retail business processes.
• Experience managing integration testing between SAP S/4HANA and multiple connected applications.
• Demonstrated experience managing offshore testing teams.
• Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage large, cross-functional testing teams and complex test cycles.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP Retail, Finance, Logistics, or related modules.
• Knowledge of testing tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• ISTQB or equivalent testing certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7-10 years of experience in Test Management, with significant exposure to SAP S/4HANA programs.

Additional Information

• Approximately 10% travel is required for workshops and stakeholder meetings across the UK and EU.
• The remainder of the role can be performed remotely from home.
