Job summary

PwC is seeking a Senior Manager to lead SAP testing across large ECC/S/4HANA transformation programmes in the Advisory line of service. You will define test strategies, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and drive quality improvements using automation and AI-enabled insights.

You will mentor junior testers and help shape PwC’s SAP testing capability while partnering with global client projects and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience leading testing across end-to-end SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA transformation programmes.
• Strong knowledge of SAP testing methodologies and quality assurance practices.
• Understanding of test automation and AI-enhanced quality engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead the testing workstream across complex SAP S/4HANA transformation programmes.
• Develop comprehensive test strategies covering functional, integration, regression and performance testing.
• Coordinate testing activities with Programme Managers, Solution Architects and business teams.
• Promote AI-enabled testing, automation and intelligent reporting to improve quality and efficiency.
• Monitor progress, defects and quality metrics for programme leadership reporting.
• Support mobilisation, governance and delivery assurance for large programmes.
• Coach junior testers and grow PwC’s SAP testing capability.

What your days will look like:

• Lead the testing workstream across complex SAP S/4HANA transformation programmes, defining and delivering testing activities that support successful business outcomes.
• Develop integrated test strategies covering functional, integration, regression, data, security, performance and business acceptance testing.
• Work closely with Programme Managers, Solution Architects, Business Change and functional teams to coordinate testing activities across the programme lifecycle.
• Help clients adopt modern quality engineering approaches, leveraging AI-enabled testing, automation and intelligent reporting to improve programme quality and efficiency.
• Monitor test progress, defect management and quality metrics, providing clear reporting and insight to programme leadership.
• Support programme mobilisation, planning and delivery assurance activities, helping establish effective testing governance and controls.
• Coach junior testers and contribute to the continued development of PwC’s SAP testing capability.

This role is for you if:

• You have experience leading testing across end-to-end SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA transformation programmes.
• You have strong knowledge of SAP testing methodologies, quality assurance, defect management and business acceptance testing.
• You understand modern testing practices, including test automation and how AI can improve quality engineering and programme delivery.
• You build trusted relationships with Programme Managers, business stakeholders and delivery teams.
• You enjoy leading workstreams, mentoring colleagues and continuously improving delivery quality.
• You have experience supporting programme mobilisation, governance and delivery assurance.
