DESCRIPTION
Amazon Shipping is looking to hire an analytical, technically skilled, hands-on, and customer-obsessed Program Manager that can drive innovation and streamline processes & tools.
Key job responsibilities
*Lead and oversee sprint planning, execution, and review meetings, ensuring timely delivery of sprint goals and objectives
*Build our reporting and monitoring pillars to generate insights for our customers in the most efficient way
*Review existing tasks and workflows to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements to enhance team productivity
*Ensure process & tool parity amongst all operating geographies
*Implement new methodologies and tools to deliver for customers with speed and quality
A day in the life
*Collaborate with stakeholders to determine project priority and resource allocation for delivery
*Manage and prioritize project intakes using Asana, evaluating incoming requests for alignment with organizational goals
*Standardize best practices across projects and teams
*Provide regular status updates to leadership and stakeholders
*Deliver key programs to build the reporting and monitoring capability within team
About the team
The SWA Operations Center (SWA-OC) serves as a central support & execution function for Amazon Shipping, with focus on core tactical responsibilities across all operations teams. It focuses on running, maintaining and strengthening our integral operational processes across the business to provide the best-in-class service quality to our customers.
This is a great opportunity to be part of a team and initiative that is at the very start of its journey. You will be part of the core team that will design, build and implement an Operations Center which will exceed our customer's expectations.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in program or project management
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Experience in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Experience defining and executing program requirements
- Experience of Six Sigma/ Lean analytical techniques
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
